Torrey is a development professional who has worked with the United Nations Development Programme, and the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. She holds a Master’s degree in Global Development Policy with a concentration in the Health Sciences. She also served in the Peace Corps in China.

A contributor to The Peace Corps Journals for nearly two years while in China, she decided to start an online journal that has no content restrictions.

Torrey spent three years working at Harvard University, most notably on the research staff for a well known health economist at the Harvard Medical School. In 2015 she joined the United Kingdom Trade and Investment Life Sciences Team. Torrey resides in Cambridge, MA.☼

  2. You’ve been a lot around the world. All I say is ‘Envy!’.
    But you haven’t been around MY part of the world (NEPAL) though you know much about the two countries that surround Nepal – India and China.
    I’d like to read about you visiting Nepal someday and the way you would see things around.
